Terry Gilliam is famous for having been part of the Monty Python, a British surreal comedy group. Most of their films are nowadays considered classics, such as Monty Python’s Holy Grail (1975)Monty Python’s Life of Brian (1979)or Monty Python’s the Meaning of Life (1983).

Later, Terry Gilliam directed his own films, among which Brazil (1985), The Adventures of the Baron Munchausen (1988) and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas  (1998).
